I was born and raised in Fresno, Ca. I moved to Indianapolis in the mid-90s. I had a life changing moment in 2007 and that re-found appreciation for life led me to go back to school and study Fine Art. I have always had a passion for art and being creative. Currently I am attending Ivy Tech; just finishing a 2 year degree in General Fine Art and then I plan to transfer to Herron School of Art. I love to work with mixed media and found objects, but I am also taking advantage of school and learning the basics of most other mediums. My focus right now is finding ways to portray the larger framed male in a more positive light than what is shown in society currently. Through paintings, photography, and mixed media I am trying to show the masculine, the simplicity, and the subtle eroticism of big men. On the side, I am assisting and learning from fellow artist Steve Redman, the art restoration process.
